Peru - Inca land
Although I've traveled extensively in my life and been to many countries, Peru was something very unique for me. For many years, I've wanted to go to Peru. The reason? I loved the stories of the Incas, and I wanted to see these places. I had heard a lot about Cusco and Machu Picchu, and I thought it was a must to be there. It's beyond my long-standing desire to see the Nazca Lines, which are part of the lecture about Peru – the Coastal Plain. The Inca culture, their fascinating writing, and the ancient cities fascinated me. So, there you have it.
After the amazing journey along the Coastal Plain, I arrived in the land of the Incas. I started in Cusco, continued with an amazing Israeli guide for a trek in the Andes Mountains up to an altitude of 4,700 meters, well-acclimatized with coca leaves – completely legal in Peru. It was a fascinating journey. From there to the Sacred Valley, Moray – the experimental agricultural terraces of the Incas, the ancient cities – Chinchero and Ollantaytambo. We continued to the pinnacle – Machu Picchu, the incredible. Back to Cusco, from there to the Rainbow Mountain with its amazing colors and the ancient cities that served as the protective belt of Cusco.
Drunk on experiences, I took a flight to an Amazonian island, and from there, I went by boat to a small village in the jungle. Three amazing days of real jungle tours! Oh, what an experience. Amazing. On the flight back to Lima, the stewardess asked what I wanted to drink – tea, coffee, or a Coca drink. Not Coca-Cola, mind you, but the real thing. True. All the stories are in the lecture itself.
It's also possible to upgrade the event and turn it into an unforgettable hybrid armchair adventure!
